Mac McDonald’s son is killed in an accident and for 17 years he is filled with bitterness and the pain erodes his love for his family and leaves him angry with everyone including God. The rage Mac feels has stonewalled his police career and makes for a highly combustible situation after he is partnered with the forces new rising star Sam – who also happens to be a part-time pastor.
